Middle IV - Science
As part of their work on gases, Mr O’Rourke’s Middle IV Science class undertook an experiment to try and prove that warm air rises.
The photographs show them using hair dryers to fill the hot air balloon. The children, with the help of Mr O’Rourke and Mr Kirkham, managed to launch the balloon from the entrance hall all the way up to the ceiling.
