Our children by our children

Nursery in action

Now that summer is here, the Nursery children have spent a lot of time playing and working outdoors in the sunshine.

01 June 2008 002
It is great fun eating our morning snack outside in our nursery garden.

02 water
We love to learn about pouring and floating in our outdoor water tray.

03 hide and seek
Now the willow structure has grown we can use it for playing Hide and Seek. Do you think our friends will find us?

04 planning
The Nursery children and teachers held a meeting to discuss what we would need for our summer garden activities. Here, you can see that one of our little girls recorded a list on our whiteboard.

05 gardening
We planted many different varieties of seeds. I wonder who will grow the tallest sunflower?

06 lambs 1
One of our recent visitors to Nursery was the vet. She brought along two of her friends - Kevin and Oliver. It was so exciting stroking the lambs and we even had turns at pretending to be the vet.

07 lambs 2
Kevin had a very fast heartbeat.

08 lambs 3
Oliver feels all “warm and cuddly”.

09 Trisophaurus
We have been learning about lots of different dinosaurs. Do you like the one that we designed and built from an old carton?
Raj has given him a fantasic name - “Trisophaurus”. He’s a very friendly dinosaur.
