Sponsored run
During the week of October 5th all children took part in a sponsored run to raise money for the building of Crossley Heath’s sports hall.
Every child ran with such amazing speed and stamina. They had twenty minutes to run as many laps as possible around the football field. Upper IV boys managed to run the most laps but were closely followed by Middle IV boys.
At present we have raised £1.138.45! Thank you very much for your enormous generosity.
Netball tournament
On Saturday 20th June The Gleddings netball team took part in the St Joseph’s invitational tournament at Brighouse High School. We had a fantastic morning of sport with our team winning all their matches in their section. They went on to the semi - finals and won 6 - 0. After a very close match the opposition beat our team by 1 goal, so we became the runners - up of the tournament.
