We enjoyed our annual celebration of The European Day of Languages slightly early this year, on Tuesday 24th September. Along with communities throughout the whole of Europe, we celebrated the richness of linguistic diversity across the globe.
Our day started with a special assembly during which the children enjoyed the story of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ in French, and sang enthusiastically about their love of fruit!
Throughout the day, children found moments in different lessons to learn about other countries and languages. And, as always, our wonderful kitchen team did us proud, treating us to a selection of fruit and decorated biscuits at snack time and to Italian favourites for lunch.
